HighwaymenHighwaymen (2003)

IMDB rating: 5.60

Plot: Since the hit-and-run murder of his wife five years ago, Rennie Cray has crisscrossed America in his souped-up, stripped-down ‘68 Plymouth Barracuda, pursuing her killer. The man he seeks in a high-speed, high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse is James Fargo, a merciless, wheelchair-bound pyschopath. Through a series of mechanical innovations, Fargo has turned his rampaging ‘72 Cadillac Eldorado into a monstrous extension of his own twisted body and mind. Now, their deadly battle of wits and wills is about to move into overdrive. And caught in their headlights is a tormented beauty who unwittingly holds the key to their ultimate showdown.

Anyone else yawning…?
On the job Brown and his motley crew have, this week alone, announced they are setting up 3 more Reviews.
One to review the rip-off Loan Sharks – currently nailing the needy – and Students in particular – against a wall of debt.
One to review the highwaymen aka Car Clampers – currently licenced to seize, clamp and hold to ransom citizen’s goods with all the abandon of a Somalian pirate.
One to review Immigration quotas – perhaps amending the 30,000 specialist Curry cooks the UK has a shortage of – allegedly.
Have we not heard all this bunkum before ? I’ve lost count of all the Reviews Gordo has set up, in reaction to problems he’s failed to foresee.
Remember the 5 Golden Rules he would keep under Review – before deciding whether or not we joined the Euro ?
Remember the Review of MPs expenses – stretched into months of ‘research’ on a subject any decent Human Resources expert could have dealt with in 72 hours ?
Remember the Iraq invasion Review ?
Are you yawning – or yelling ???

As you say they are very good at reviewing and then doing nothing despite the evidence.

The UK electorate have heard it to many times before.

you wait ’til the Baby Bonds mature – these will have to be funded by the taxpayer and how that is going to be helpful/possible is beyond comprehension.

This government talks about Evidence Based Policies but acts on Policies Based Evidence.
